With a kayak or canoe you can easily paddle between the islands, without worrying about the rocks. Kökar has many scenic passages and and environments that are best explored with canoes. Get a detailed map or chart in advance!
At Havspaviljongen you can rent both single and tandem kayaks. The rent includes all the equipment you need to experience Kökar from the water. The kayaks are suitable for both day trips and longer excursions.
To rent a canoe or a kayak, you must have reached the age of 18 or have a companion / consent. All paddling is at your own risk.
Bicycle and scooter
Th perfect way to get around Kökar is by bicykle.
Rent a bike at Karlby guest harbour the Havspaviljongen or Sandvik guest harbor, so you can enjoy the flowers along the roadside, stop at hidden bays and listen to the birds singing on warm cliffs along the way.
The distances are short and you can fold in for a cup of coffee between visits at various attractions. Are you a little more lazy, or want to go a little faster, there are also scooters to rent
